In the morning, when she arrived for work, Chase said she would see the doctor coming down the steps carrying oxygen tanks. When Murray didn’t come downstairs the morning of June 25, “I thought maybe Mr. Jackson is sleeping late,” Chase said.

“I started preparing the lunch and then I looked at my cell phone and it was noon. About 12:05 or 12:10 Dr. Murray runs down the steps and screams, ‘Go get Prince!’ He’s screaming very loud. I run into the den where the kids are playing. Prince (Jackson’s oldest son) runs to meet Dr. Murray and from that point on you could feel the energy in the house change.

“I walked into the hall and I saw the children there. The daughter was crying. I saw paramedics running up the stairs.”

At that point, Chase said, the small group that was gathered — the children, their nanny, a housekeeper and Chase — held hands and began to pray. As paramedics raced up to the room, Chase recalls, “We were all praying, ‘Help Mr. Jackson be O.K.’

“Then everyone was very quiet.”

At about 1:30 p.m. she said security guards told her and other staff to leave the property because “Mr. Jackson was being taken to the hospital.”

When she came outside, she said, ambulances were in the courtyard and a crowd had gathered.

Bhatti-gate started when reporters noticed that the Norwegian man sat at the front row of Michael Jackson’s memorial event, surrounded by the rest of the grieving family members. From the Mirror:

Omer Bhatti has revealed how Jackson feted him as an honorary son after inviting him and his family to move in with him.

Omer, 25, from Norway, who lived with Jackson at his Neverland ranch for eight years, hails the tragic pop legend as his “best friend”.

But he says there is no biological link between him and Jackson, despite widespread rumours he is the King of Pop’s illegitimate child, fathered during an alleged fling with Omer’s mum in 1983.

Omer, who lives in Norway, has revealed Jackson always used to say that he was like a son to him and he thinks that that must be the reason for all the rumours.

Confiding in a close friend from Oslo, Omer said: “Michael is not my father. He and I were just very, very close. He was my best friend.”

Speculation that a Norwegian dancer is Michael Jackson’s love child is swirling after photos showed him sitting in the front row with family at the pop idol’s memorial service.

Omer Bhatti, 25, sat between Jackson’s father, Joe, and the singer’s sisters and brothers at the star-studded July 7 farewell at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Bhatti, who performs under the stage name O-Bee, is rumored to be the result of a one-night stand Jackson had with his mother, Pia Bhatti, in 1984.

Pia Bhatti’s husband, Riz, told the London Sun he knew there would be questions when he saw where he was sitting during the service.

“Yeah, yeah, I know because I was watching,” he was quoted as saying. “I told my wife, ‘Just wait until the press see this. It’s not a small thing.’”

Michael Jackson’s upbringing was shaped by two very different parents.

His mother, Katherine Jackson, has been portrayed by her children as the loving glue that bonded the family together, while her husband, Joe, was the harsh disciplinarian whose iron hand not only shaped one of the most successful musical families in the world, but also elicited enough fear in his superstar son that it sometimes made him ill.

Now the couple of 60 years stands at the center of a custody drama surrounding their grandchildren.

Michael Jackson’s will, filed in 2002, designated his mother as caregiver for Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and “Blanket,” 7.

It is the latest installment in the many trials that have tested the Jackson family, not least of which has been the unexpected loss of its most famous member.

First (and most bizarrely) it was Joe Jackson. Then La Toya Jackson. Now it’s Tito Jackson’s turn to, if not cash in on his brother’s name—and knowing the British tabloids, that’s a fairly big if—at least get his turn in the media spotlight.

The 55-year-old Jackson gave a lengthy interview to Britain’s Daily Mirror yesterday, revealing, among many shocking disclosures, that he and his siblings were so convinced that Michael was abusing prescription drugs, they once forced an intervention at Neverland Ranch.

LOS ANGELES – Debbie Rowe says “Hell no!” to raising the two children she bore to ex-hubby Michael Jackson, a bombshell email published by ExtraTV.com reveals.

“My lawyer is telling me I have to take some responsibility about the welfare of the children,” Rowe wrote in a July 5 email to friend Rebecca White, obtained by Extra. “Do I want the kids? Hell no. Does it look good for me to ask for them? Absolutely. I don’t want to look like the woman who gave away her kids and just forgot about them.”

Rowe, 50, is considering a bid for custody of Michael Jr., 12, and Paris, 11, as her lawyers discuss private settlement options with Katherine Jackson, the grandmother named their temporary guardian, sources told the Daily News.

Some of Michael Jackson’s brothers plan to seek permission to bury his body at Neverland Ranch, the Xanadu-like estate at which the King of Pop once held court but where he vowed never to return again, sources close to the family told ABCNews.com.

State officials said the process to establish a cemetery in a residential area could take weeks. Adding to the delay, sources said, was a push by Jackson’s mother, Katherine,, 79, that the family find an alternative place for burial out of respect for the singer’s wish that he never return to Neverland.

Jackson made no arrangements for his burial in his will, written in 2002 and made public last week. His mother was the only family member, aside from his children, mentioned in the will, and her opinion carries considerable weight in any decision the family ultimately makes, sources said. Read on…

In addition to Neverland being a candidate for Michael’s burial, the family also has Forest Lawn Cemetery in Hollywood Hills in mind. Rumors abound as to which it will be.

In order for Jackson to be buried at Neverland the family would need to get permits. But the county officials say that they haven’t been contacted. However something is in the works at the former Jackson home. Workers have been spotted on the grounds, cleaning up the 2,800 acre estate.

E! News has exclusively learned that the King of Pop’s body is currently being held at the Hollywood Hills location of Forest Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuaries, where it is expected to ultimately be interred.

The Jacksons are still floating some other possibilities, so we’ll give you the official  decision when it’s released. What we do know, though, is that the much-hyped Neverland public memorial will not be moving forward as originally planned. Sad? The fans who camped out at Neverland to get in on the action sure are.

And it doesn’t end there-the Jacksons’ dirty laundry is getting aired out for the world to see. The other thorn in their side is Michael Jackson’s doctor Conrad Murray, who they contend is responsible for shooting up the singer with Demerol.

The Jackson family yesterday unleashed an extraordinary attack on his personal doctor, Conrad Murray, and ordered a second autopsy.

Reports claimed Dr Murray injected Jackson with a powerful dose of prescription painkiller Demerol shortly before his death.

After a three-hour interview with detectives, Dr Murray denied he was a suspect.

The Jacksons’ trauma was also played out on the custody front with the children’s natural mother and their long-time nanny both staking claims.

Grandmother Katherine Jackson, 79, insisted she wanted to have the children.

But nanny Grace Rwaramba arrived from London intending to seek custody.

Ms Rwaramba, 42, worked for Jackson for more than a decade and claims to have a close, warm relationship with Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and Prince Michael II, 7.

Jackson’s former wife, Debbie Rowe, 50, has also declared she wants the three children.

The eldest two are biologically hers and while she doesn’t have regular contact with them, Ms Rowe has told friends she would fight “tooth and nail” to keep them.
