KTLA is claiming that they have managed a psychic interview with Michael Jackson. Not only is this silly and preposterous, but is pushing downright offensive.

If I was part of the Jackson family, I would most certainly not be happy when I heard this headline.

Gustav Turner with the LA Weekly covered this outlandish breaking story. Apparently the psychic asked to do the interview wasn’t too creative when it came to putting words in the dead singer’s mouth. Apparently:

* Michael Jackson loved his children

* he really loved to sing “We Are The World”

* he did not want to die tragically

* he’s tormented about the tabloid pictures of his corpse (which the helpful folks at KTLA will repeatedly rebroadcast so that you know what MJ is so tormented about)

* he feels “emotional pain” and is “absolutely mortified” about the molestation allegations

* he absolutely does not want his children to be raised by their biological mother, who, according to the spectral singer, has “a lot of addictive personality problems.” (Ed’s note: neither West Coast Sound nor world-renowned psychic Vox wish to defame any person living or astral.)

* he does not like This Is It (too rehearsey) and does not wish you to go see it

Once again, if I was family I’d be pretty upset hearing this garbage. And when it comes to psychically speaking with the deceased, this woman is on the same level as pet psychics.

Actually, now that I think about it, pet psychics B.S. better than her. Any fan could have thrown that “information” on the table.

Overall, this “interview” is disgusting and insulting to Michael Jackson and his family, and shame on KTLA for even contemplating (even more for actually) airing it.

Here is the news segment in full. Get out your raincoat, because there’s a downpour of B.S.

Is Joe Jackson becoming the de facto spokesperson of the Jackson family? Maybe it’s just because he won’t quit talking about himself, but it seems like most of the news we’re getting about the Jacksons is coming from daddy Joe. This time, Joe blabbed to New York Daily News that his son Michael Jackson will be laid to rest on August 29, which is the pop star’s birthday.

The King of Pop will reportedly be buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles, though the exact burial spot hasn’t been revealed. Now that fans know the date of the funeral, we’re guessing swarms of them will show up at the cemetery at the end of the month to catch of the glimpses of the proceedings.

Joseph Jackson says his son Michael will be finally laid to rest on Aug. 29, on what would have been the King of Pop’s 51st birthday.

Speaking to New York’s Daily News, the Jackson patriarch said the burial would take place at Los Angeles’s Forest Lawn Cemetery at 10 that morning, some two months after Michael’s June 25 death.

Jackson, 80, said that these arrangements had only been finalized recently, says the News. He also said that his wife Katherine, from whom he lives separately, has been particularly hard hit by their son’s death and suffers crying jags.

A source told MSNBC that Jackson’s “weird behavior” on a trip back in 2005 may have been linked to use of the dangerous anesthetic Propofol. This would mean that Jackson’s relationship with the drug goes back further than previously thought, and Dr. Conrad Murray may not have been the first doctor to prescribe it to the King of Pop.

According to the unnamed business associate, Jackson’s behavior on a trip in Dubai was so bizarre that those around him questioned him about his drug usage, and Jackson admitted to using a substance with a description matching Propofol.

Michael Jackson’s propofol abuse could have started as early as 2005, according to sources with longstanding relationships with the singer.

“He went to Dubai in 2005 and when he was there, people around him started to grow concerned. He was acting bizarre, and everyone knew he was using,” said one business associate. “Finally he was confronted and all he’d say was ‘It’s stronger than Demerol, it’s something you can only get at the hospital.’ Now, looking back, it sounds like it could have been propofol.”

“He described it to me as ‘something to sleep that completely puts you out, that you get in hospitals,’ ” said another source who was in talks to start a new tour with Jackson during the Dubai trip, which followed the singer’s acquittal on child molestation charges.

“His behavior was strange enough that it was good reason to not continue talks of a tour, at least until he got help,” the source said. “He was an addict. He admitted so himself on television. But now that we know about the propofol, there’s a lot of us thinking that was why he was so weird in Dubai — maybe it was propofol.”

After almost two months, the King of Pop has finally been laid to rest. Too bad for us, though, the family won’t be revealing exactly where they buried his body.

According to Marie Claire, the Jacksons will keep Michael’s final resting place a top secret to keep legions of fans from disturbing his grave site or turning it into a shrine. Fans are sure to be upset when they find this out, and we bet some of them will go trekking through Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood to try and discover the site themselves. We hope everybody is respectful of the late King of Pop and his family’s wishes!

Michael Jackson has finally been buried, but in an unmarked grave to keep crazy fans from turning his final resting place into a shrine.

Although it is thought the King of Pop’s grave lies within the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Hollywood, the exact location is being kept a closely guarded secret.

‘Other than the Jackson family and the Forest Lawn management, no one knows the exact spot,’ a source tells The Daily Mail.

‘Staff at the cemetery have been fed several locations, it’s as if they’re hoping to confuse everyone.

We’ve been reading a lot about the strange drug Propofol and its role in the Michael Jackson death. But what exactly does it do, and how dangerous is it? Newsweek interviewed Dr. David Kloth to get some helpful background about the anesthetic that Dr. Conrad Murray administered to the pop star.

“Propofol is a medication that was invented 20 to 25 years ago for anesthesia. It’s what we call a sedative hypnotic. It puts you to sleep; it makes you forget things,” says Dr. David Kloth, past president of American Society of Interventionism Pain Physicians and current president of Connecticut Pain Society. It’s used in the emergency room and during surgery for sedation. The drug is an ideal for anesthesia because it works quickly and leaves very little lingering effects when used correctly. “It comes on very quickly; it also wears off very quickly. If someone’s on a continuous drip, and you turn it off, in five or 10 minutes, they’re wide awake,” says Kloth.

Jackson, who reportedly suffered from debilitating insomnia, may have been seeking a little shut eye with the aid of this drug. What makes his death more tragic is that propofol wouldn’t have helped his exhaustion. “It does not cause stage 4 REM sleep,” Kloth says. “Michael Jackson was unfortunately either misinformed or misunderstood … He would actually wake unrested, because the brain did not enter the appropriate stage of sleep.”

So in addition to being dangerous, the drug didn’t even help Jackson’s exhaustion. Sounds like he was getting a lot of faulty medical advice while his health deteriorated. Was his untimely death inevitable?

The late Michael Jackson’s personal chef Kai Chase gave the Associated Press an interview this week, giving readers a glimpse into the final, frantic moments of Michael Jackson’s life and the chaos that consumed the Jackson household on June 25.

Read the gripping account here:

In the morning, when she arrived for work, Chase said she would see the doctor coming down the steps carrying oxygen tanks. When Murray didn’t come downstairs the morning of June 25, “I thought maybe Mr. Jackson is sleeping late,” Chase said.

“I started preparing the lunch and then I looked at my cell phone and it was noon. About 12:05 or 12:10 Dr. Murray runs down the steps and screams, ‘Go get Prince!’ He’s screaming very loud. I run into the den where the kids are playing. Prince (Jackson’s oldest son) runs to meet Dr. Murray and from that point on you could feel the energy in the house change.

“I walked into the hall and I saw the children there. The daughter was crying. I saw paramedics running up the stairs.”

At that point, Chase said, the small group that was gathered — the children, their nanny, a housekeeper and Chase — held hands and began to pray. As paramedics raced up to the room, Chase recalls, “We were all praying, ‘Help Mr. Jackson be O.K.’

“Then everyone was very quiet.”

At about 1:30 p.m. she said security guards told her and other staff to leave the property because “Mr. Jackson was being taken to the hospital.”

When she came outside, she said, ambulances were in the courtyard and a crowd had gathered.

The long-delayed toxicology reports from Michael Jackson’s autopsy are supposedly going public by the end of this week. The anticipation surrounding these results is heightened by news that Dr. Conrad Murray is in a world of trouble- investigators believe it was Murray who injected Jackson with the anesthetic propofol. If these tox reports indicate that the propofol killed Jackson, that could be damning evidence for a manslaughter case against the doctor.

ABC News reports the following:

The King of Pop, for all intents and purposes, was dead — killed, ABC News has learned, by a lethal cocktail of prescription drugs that included OxyContin and Demerol.

But according to The Associate Press, investigators believe it was Dr. Conrad Murray who injected the pop icon around midnight with propofol, the powerful anesthetic authorities believe ultimately killed him.

“This doctor is in serious trouble,” criminal defense attorney Roy Black told “Good Morning America” today.

That’s not all. One chilling paragraph from that same article shows that this wasn’t Jackson’s first experience with the dangerous propofol:

An official close to the investigation told The Associated Press that Jackson relied on propofol like an alarm clock, instructing doctors to stop the IV when he wanted to wake up. It’s a drug authorities believe he may have been using for two years.

Los Angeles County coroner’s officials said today that they have looked into security breaches involving the investigation of Michael Jackson’s death, including hundreds of improper views of the pop star’s death certificate and the discovery of weaknesses in two other computer systems in which more sensitive records were stored.

At least a half-dozen coroner’s staff members were among those who inappropriately accessed Jackson’s death certificate, officials said today. Within two weeks of his death, the certificate had been viewed more than 300 times.

In some cases, staff members appear to have printed copies before it became a public record. Earlier this month, coroner’s officials warned employees to cease, cautioning that they had previously been admonished about the security hold on the Jackson case.

“There’s only one person in the investigation of Mr. Jackson who needed to have a copy of the death certificate, and that was the investigator,” said Craig Harvey, chief coroner investigator. Read on…

Now this is just unprofessional and tactless. I know that Michael Jackson is famous, and thus it would be tempting to have your very own copy of his death certificate, but really, show some restraint. Your job gave you the power and place to access the record, but have some professional pride. Don’t stoop to this kind of level. How would you feel if your family member had their death certificate treated as nothing more than trade-able memorabilia?

State officials said the process to establish a cemetery in a residential area could take weeks. Adding to the delay, sources said, was a push by Jackson’s mother, Katherine,, 79, that the family find an alternative place for burial out of respect for the singer’s wish that he never return to Neverland.

Jackson made no arrangements for his burial in his will, written in 2002 and made public last week. His mother was the only family member, aside from his children, mentioned in the will, and her opinion carries considerable weight in any decision the family ultimately makes, sources said. Read on…

In addition to Neverland being a candidate for Michael’s burial, the family also has Forest Lawn Cemetery in Hollywood Hills in mind. Rumors abound as to which it will be.

In order for Jackson to be buried at Neverland the family would need to get permits. But the county officials say that they haven’t been contacted. However something is in the works at the former Jackson home. Workers have been spotted on the grounds, cleaning up the 2,800 acre estate.

Internet company Akamai, which handles 20 percent of the world’s Web traffic, reported on Tuesday that it ran some 2.8 million audio and video streams during the Jackson memorial webcast, making it the most widely viewed on the Internet since Obama’s inauguration.
