Murray Suprised by MJ’s “Unusual Problems”
Dr. Conrad Murray didn’t know the full extent of Michael Jackson’s medical problems when he signed up to be his personal physician this spring, according to his lawyers. Explaining that Jackson had “very unusual problems,” Murray evidently didn’t know Jackson’s full drug regimen or whether he was an addict. Is this the legal defense that they are building for Murray if he’s officially charged with manslaughter? Do you think it’s an effective defense?
Read on from CNN:
InĀ comments published in the Los Angeles Times and confirmed Thursday by his spokeswoman, attorney Ed Chernoff said his client did not know which drugs Jackson might have been taking or whether he was addicted.
“When he accepted the job, he was not aware of any specific requirements regarding medications that Michael Jackson was taking or any addictions that he was suffering from,” Chernoff told the Times.
In a quote confirmed by his spokesman, Chernoff said that it was only after Murray moved to Los Angeles in May that “he realized that Michael Jackson had some very unusual problems.”
Murray did not conduct drug tests on Jackson and had no way of knowing, other than from Jackson himself, whether he was taking other drugs, Chernoff’s spokeswoman, Miranda Sevcik, told CNN.
This doctors excuses are flimsy at best, Starting with why he didn’t call 911 sooner. 1) He didn’t know the address. Strange since he drove his own car there. 2) There was no phone in the room. Also strange since video clearly shows a phone next to the bed. 3) Giving CPR while leaving MJ on the bed. Rediculous. Anyone with CPR training knows that is not the right procedure. Also according to all reports this doctor left MJ unattended after giving him such a powerful drug. This dr claiming he had no prior knowledge of MJ’s unusual problems is B.S. since so many others have reported that Mj approached them asking for this drug and someone to give it to him. that is unusual in itself..Everyone else turned him down except this Dr who accepted the position out of his own greed.. while he may not have intentionally murdered MJ he did at the very least neglect to take the proper precautions such as having the counter drug on hand in case something went wrong and not leaving his side even for one minute.after administering diprovan.he should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
